VOID
Sculpture, Glass and Concrete

This piece made with a rectangular glass and a concrete circle. Light been set on the top and bottom. Then it gives some clear projection on the wall. I will make 12 piece of glass and concrete sculpture this semester about one topic: Emotion
I'm trying to use simple structure to materialized human emotions such as angry, sad or lonely.
The first piece above represents "void" which means no emotion. That's the start point of all emotions.

AGONY

Second piece of "Emotion". Made with glass only. The piece use lots of glass fragments build up. It is "Agony", which means the feeling of pain.
Even this is a negative feeling, it still looks beautiful.
WEEK THREE
The third piece of "Emotion". Made with glass covered with scratches. It is "sorrow", which means a feeling of deep distress caused by loss, disappointment, or other misfortune suffered by oneself or others.
The soul like a light, project and zoom our feeling on mind.
WEEK FOUR
Second piece of "Emotion". Made with glass only. The piece use lots of glass fragments build up. It is "Agony", which means the feeling of pain.
Even this is a negative feeling, it still looks beautiful.

The third piece of "Emotion". Made with glass covered with scratches. It is "sorrow", which means a feeling of deep distress caused by loss, disappointment, or other misfortune suffered by oneself or others.

SECTION OF FEAR

The fourth piece of "Emotion". Made with glass applied with concrete. It shows the "fear", the feeling of an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. However, the actual fear is too large and intangible, so I just put a "section" here. Looks like a Biological slice.

It shows the "fear", the feeling of an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. GROW OF LONELINESS

The fifth piece of "Emotion". Made with glass install on the wall. It shows the "loneliness", the feeling of sadness because one has no friends or company. It more or less means not people around you other than the meaning of "solitude", which means there might many people around.

The sixth piece of "Emotion". Made with glass and smashed glass. It shows the "Infatuation", the feeling of an intense but short-lived passion or admiration for someone or something. That is something easy to fade away... But it never gone. It might just disperse and stay in your hair, your cloth and somewhere you ever went.
